This project revived the brick sector post 2015 earthquake, making it environmentally sound, energy efficient and structurally safe. It also prepared a design manual of improved zigzag kiln, which helped brick entrepreneurs adopt the improved design, developed capacity of Federation of Nepal Brick Industry (FNBI) to carry out future outreach support and published firing manual of improved zigzag kiln.
