This project provided technical support to build capacity of municipal level structures and concerned individuals on public health emergencies specially Cholera, AGE and other water borne diseases in Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Chandragiri Municipality. Capacity building of urban health centres; supported citizen-led water quality test; Integrated child-centered risk management in the Grade 8 curriculum; Training of teachers of public and private schools to implement child-centered risk mapping and planning; Census mapping (GIS and quality) of water sources of Chandragiri; Supported private tanker owners and water users committees to install water treatment systems.
